The pandemic definitely put a wrench in many wedding plans over the last few years.
This stunning couple had to reschedule their wedding three times! Once due to the unpredictable Florida weather and then twice more due to the pandemic. After planning and replanning over the course of three years, they finally said “I Do” at the historic Venue 1902.
Due to all the unforeseen circumstances, this couple, like many others, waited so long to have their dream wedding and they wanted it to be perfect. The bride tells us that “after having to reschedule our wedding TWICE due to the pandemic and then having to find a new venue, our vendors were extremely patient and understanding throughout the whole process.” With the dream team of Orlando wedding vendors they chose, they were finally able to bring it all together.
As the bride states, “It’s so easy to get caught up and obsess over every detail!” However, when the day finally came, this couple learned to simply embrace the moment, and focus on what it’s really all about: LOVE!

The Facts:
- Guest Count: 90
- Venue: Venue 1902
- Theme: Timeless Elegance
Note from the couple:
“During the first planning cycle, I initially got caught up in trying to accommodate and please everyone. It got so bad that our wedding was beginning to become nothing that I wanted it to be. Our first venue closed down, which gave me the opportunity to re-evaluate what was important to my husband and me and what we envisioned for our day. We kept in mind that the people who are genuinely happy for us will be there for us, and that’s what mattered the most.”

The Essentials:
- Ceremony & Reception Venue: Venue 1902
- Rehearsal Dinner Venue: 1902 West

Note from the couple:
“Hiring a videographer was one of the best decisions I’ve made! I was initially hesitant about hiring a videographer because at first, I thought it wasn’t necessary. But Jake Molina Media and his team were extremely encouraging, even with all the curveballs thrown our way. And after receiving our final video, I absolutely have ZERO regrets with this decision. In fact, I encourage every couple to prioritize hiring a videographer to capture their special day.”

“I’m sitting here still in awe of how absolutely perfect my wedding day was. The staff at Venue 1902 were an absolute dream to work with. They worked so well with all of my vendors and everything was smooth and seamless! They took so much weight off of my shoulders and put me at ease. My guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the venue was and how great the staff was. Even though we’ve had to reschedule our wedding twice and change locations, I can honestly say, it was very well worth the wait. I never thought that having my dream wedding was possible, but Venue 1902 made my wedding dreams come true! It was everything and more!”

Note from the bride:
“My husband’s one request for our wedding was to have carrot cake as our wedding cake. We recalled having tried Scotchie’s carrot cake at my sister-in-law’s wedding, and it was the best carrot cake we’ve ever tasted! The staff created a beautiful and delicious custom cake for us! All of our guests were raving over how delicious our cake was!”
